Being asked for an unlock code for my SparkLE, which doesn't have one?

I have a SparkLE which I have never registered. I tried to register it just now, so I would have a record of all my hardware and software in the same place. But I got an error message that an unlock code is required to register it. The problem is, my SparkLE doesn’t have an unlock code on the label, which is where the website says it should be. I don’t have the box any longer, so I can’t check it for the code either.

Am I missing something, or is the SparkLE just so old that its really just having a laugh at my expense?

Firstly, if you need to register it and have no documentation, I suspect Arturia will be happy if you send a photo of the h/w (perhaps the back side) to prove yo have it. Just ask them.

Secondly, if you aren’t aware, Spark is essentially abandonware. Arturia are not actively supporting it and the last update was solely to allow it to run on Apple M processors in Rosetta Mode. See “Legacy Products”:

If you continue to use it, its days are already numbered and at some point it will likely not even install or run any longer.

Thats all a great shame as I and others love Spark.

I’ve always been a fan ot Spark. The sounds are excellent and the SparkLE makes programming it a doddle. I changed to maschine for a while, but the workflow involved is so convoluted, it would give Einstein a headache. I’ll do what you suggest, and drop Arturia a line.
