Beatstep jumping values (knobs) in ableton live 12 after midi mapping

Hi,
I can’t find a solution to this problem myself, so I’m posting here in the forum.

When I want to use BeatStep as a controller in Live 12, the knobs jump around, no matter how I map the MIDI. Even the settings in Live and Arturia MIDI Control Center don’t change anything.

The knobs and faders seem to move smoothly, but they jump.

This happens with all controls when MIDI mapping is done in Live. Could it be a defect that causes all the knobs to have this error?

Has anyone had this problem?? Or do you have a tip for the problem?

I’m at my wits’ end.

Hi @TRAlfredo. Welcome to the community.

I don’t use Ableton Live.

Are your Beatstep encoders set to Absolute or to a Relative mode? Is Live set to match the same setting?
In Absolute mode jumping values may happen, if that’s what you mean, unless Live have a way to avoid this.

If Live support Relative Modes, then it need to be set to support it and match the Relative mode you use in Beatstep.
