Hi Arturias friends,

Bon dia, cacauceluque,
I presume you tried running Augmented Strings as a Standalone and that it works in full (not demo) mode. Is it the only Augmented VST showing this behavior?
It could be a DAW problem. Usually DAWs scan for new VSTs. It may be that your DAW (which one?) is not finding the VST or blacklisting the VST.
Bonjour Françoise,
I am running augmented strings intro in Cakewalk as a VST app.
The same issue happens as standalone version.
This is the only one I have among Augmented instruments.
Thank you
Sorry to hear this, i think it would be a good idea to log into your account and contact Arturia Support in the week, who should be able to sort this out for you.
HTH!
Hello! Did you manage to solve the problem? I have the same problem. I have tried many times to solve this problem, but I can’t get it to work!
Hi @Sergix,
Is the product activated in Arturia Software Center (ASC)? If not then activate it. I assume you have a license to do so.
If the product already is activated, then i suggest you try to deactivate and reactivate your products though ASC. Perhaps do a computer restart after deactivating and before reactivating.
Thank you! I’ve already done everything I could, but Augmented STRINGS Intro still runs in demo mode.
Other Arturia products like Pigments, Analog Lab, and the FX plugins are working fine.
You are welcome.
Have you also tried to clean the instruments preferences in ASC?
Do you have the full version of the instrument? If so - is it working?
Otherwise please follow the advice above by @matjones and contact Arturia support.
Yes, I tried cleaning the instrument preferences in ASC, but unfortunately Augmented STRINGS Intro still runs in demo mode.
I don’t have the full version — only the Intro version.
Other instruments and plugins like Pigments, Analog Lab Intro, and the FX are working fine and show as authorized.
Hello, my message had nothing to do with the problem, just a moment of fatigue for sure.
As for me, I also had an Augmented instrument in the intro but it worked normally in the Intro.
Of course not as a complete element, and then I moved on to the collection with a very interesting discount, do it if financially possible of course (pigment is not part of the collections).
Have you checked on your Arturia profile the designation and definition of this instrument and the license number?
Was it with Arturia that you received this Intro or during another promotion?
If that’s the case, it might be the serial number that doesn’t match, check with the seller.
Uninstall, clean the registry with a cleaner, restart, and reinstall.
Good luck otherwise while waiting for the service.
I also have Cakewalk by BandLab and Sonar 8 sold by Roland.
Musical friendship.
Thank you! Musical friendship.
In my Arturia account, Augmented STRINGS Intro is shown as authorized on my computer.
However, it still runs in demo mode inside my DAW (Cubase 13).
This clearly seems like an issue on Arturia’s side — especially since the previous version worked just fine.
I’ve already cleaned preferences, reinstalled all Arturia software from scratch three times, and checked all folder permissions. Nothing helped.
At this point, it’s honestly easier for me to just uninstall this instrument — I’ve already spent half a day trying to fix it.
Judging by other posts, it looks like I’m not the only one facing this problem.
If anyone found a real solution, please share it. Otherwise, I hope Arturia will release a fix soon.
Thanks.
