Hi! I heard that there was a problem in the old units that can be fixed by new firmware. And all new units come with the new firmware. How can I find out (maybe by serial number) if I need to change the firmware or not? Maybe my device was waiting for me in the store for a very long time and it needs to be flashed.

As far as I know, the units available in shops have not yet been updated to the latest firmware version. You will need to update them manually.

If I understand correctly, the dynamic range with this firmware is reduced to 111 dbA.
Do I understand correctly that after this, the output DC voltage will also be lowered?
Hi,
The dynamic range is the difference between the quietest and loudest sounds the DAC can reproduce without noise or distortion.
With the new firmware, the background noise has slightly increased. However, this has no connection to the DC offset.
So the DC voltage will not be reduced after the update.
