Has anyone tried and figured out how to record using the Audiofuse Studio’s microphone “Talk” button? I think it’s supposed to just be used to talk to someone in a different room (vocal recording etc maybe) but that built-in mic sounds kind of lo-fi and weird in a nice way. I thought it would be fun to try using it in the DAW so I’m throwing this out there to see if anyone has done this before. Thanks!
I have contacted support about this issue before, but they said it is not possible. The workaround they suggested was to connect the ADAT OUT and IN, route the TALKBACK to ADAT1-2, and record the ADAT input on the DAW.
The manual states that the talkback signal is mapped to USB port 8, and the product web page also says that recording with the talkback microphone is possible, so I think it is a bug. I am waiting for a firmware update with faint hope.
