Audiofuse Rev 2 as Midi Hub with Keylab controller

Hi Peeps
There may be more guidance for this enquiry longer ago but…
How dod I use my Audiofuse Rev 2 as a MIDI hub when I’m also using my Keylab MK II?
I’ve tried plugging things into the Audiofuse but there doesn’t seem an obvious way to control them using the Keylab.

HI @Hoe-Naye,

I’m not sure i understand your issue.
The Audiofuse hub is afaik used to connect devices to your computer. There is no direct internal link between the devices you connect.

OK, thanks, so when I plug my Keylab into the Audiofuse it doesn’t automatically become a controller for any synth I connect to the Audiofuse via MIDI?

No.
Think that the hub is giving you more USB inputs to a computer that don’t have enough.

If your controller shall control midi devices without involving a computer, then you can connect the devices using the keylab controllers MIDI 6-pin DIN.

If you use a application on your computer - like DAW - that can control outboard gear, then that application shall stand for the routing from and to your different devices.

You’ll need to include some kind of computer and DAW into the equation to do what you’re wanting to do.
Are you wanting to do this as some kind of ‘stand alone’ setup?

OK, thank you. I think I understand the situation better now. You’ve been very helpful.

Well, I was wondering what the situation would be without the computer and what it meant for the Audiofuse to act as a MISI hub. I usually use a DAW. The main issue is that I have an Iridium desktop synth and I’m looking for ways of controlling that and whether the audiofuse could act between the keylab and the iridium.

@Hoe-Naye
I you’re just wanting to play your Iridium synth ‘standalone’ from your KL, you could just ‘go old-school’ use one or two ‘DIN’ midi cables.
