Is it possible to control the main output volume on 16Rig using this USB volume knob?

The quick answwer is probably No.
This seems to be a HID device that send standard volume message to OSs, but changing windows volume is different than turning the 16Rig monitor knob.
If could work if the 16Rig would implement standard HID volume messages, which is not the case right now.
I might be wrong as the product page is not super explicit about how the device works, but I’m pretty sure I’m right.

Did you ever get an external knob to control the monitor volume for your unit?
I use an ExC-3 for this and it works well.
You can use one of the faders as a master volume.
I use all 3 faders for volume control for 3 synths. Be aware that if you do the latter, you’ll want to use the associated (free) software to restrict the ranges of values sent to prevent clipping.

Ah, i didn’t realise they’re an option, not a huge issue as i’m not planning on looking at it anyway, rather looking forward to it arriving.
Mine turned up fairly swiftly as he had some in stock, it’s a really nice unit and worth the money!
I love little ‘boutique’ builders like this!
