Hi there, I am wondering if anyone uses Astrolab within Luna. I can create an instrument track and select from my choice of Astrolab presets with Analog Lab V, but unfortunately it won’t allow me to make changes to the presets with the knobs and such, I have to make any sound changes on the laptop, and that is unfortunate. I haven’t tried this in ProTools yet but I am really trying to use Luna since the Apollo handles a lot of the processing and keeps the laptop from getting bogged down. Anyone have this issue, or better yet, a solution for it? Thanks

I haven’t tested with Luna, but I imagine this should work the same as any other DAW integration.
It might seem like an obvious question, but have you clicked “Link to AstroLab” in Analog Lab V? Just in case this is making the knobs not sync properly.
Yes, I did try the Link to Astrolab button but that didn’t work. The mod wheel will change the filters, but that’s it, the other knobs and buttons won’t change anything to customize the sound. I can take some photos later if you like.
Tonight I tried it in Pro Tools and it worked with a setting, so I closed that, opened up Luna, created an instrument track using that same setting, and it worked. So I am not sure what wasn’t happening on the other track, perhaps I did something in settings by accident but hopefully it will work fine in the future. I will report back if I have any other issues,. and thanks!

Hi Joseph, it happened again last night in Luna but it seems it only happens with Analog Lab V. If I first choose an individual patch like Augmented Strings or Woodwinds, or any specific modeled synth, it works fine. And yes I did link the Astrolab but it still requires any edits to the sounds to be done on my laptop and not the keyboard when I choose a sound inside Analog Lab V.
