Astrolab factory preset samples not found

After using a few Astrolab factory presets containing samples to create a song in a playlist directly on the Astrolab and moving that playlist over to AnalogLab, those presets no longer work and report missing sample files.

Do we have to keep any Playlists and Songs created directly on Astrolab there and not try and move them to AnalogLab?

If so, how do we back them up since the only currently supported backup method is using AnalogLab?

Stuart.

Hi @stuart.renes ,

I don’t have a Astrolab.

Have you read the manuals about how too handle presets and playlists? If not, then i suggest you do.

As far as i can tell from a quick view in manuals, then presets and playlists transfer separately.
When you use presets in a playlist, then the preset is copied to use for that playlist.

If audio samples is used in presets, then the samples need to be present at a correct location.

If things does’nt work like described in the manual, then i suggest you contact Arturia support through your account.

If you are lucky someone perhaps can help you more here, than i can.

Thanks, but I’ve read the manual.

Unlike AnalogLab presets, you can’t transfer AstroLab factory presets anywhere. The only way I’ve found to get them into AnalogLab is to add them to a song created on the Astro and then copying that to the Analog. When that happened, none of the required sample files get transferred.
