AstroLab 37

Nice one!

I got a rather excited WhatsApp message off a mate this morning who’s ordered one too, he sounded like a kid at xmas on the phone when i rang him back!:laughing:
It’ll be interesting to see what he makes of it too.

Does it definitely fit in the Analog Case? If so, I will order one of those.

Which Analog Case? I have multiple cases from them. They’re very nice. I was just looking at all they have to offer and none match the AL37.

It’s a new device and Analog Cases are usually ‘custom fitted’ to particular devices, so it’s likely to take them a while to make any tooling they might need.
Also, Thomann do a very good range of cases at some remarkably good prices i’ve found over the years.

I’ve ended up with one of the new Sequential Fourm synths and am in the same position with wanting a reasonably lightweight case for it.

Hi, yes, it’s fits perfectly!

Analog Cases jumped on creating a Moog Messenger case pretty quick. They knew it was gonna be a very popular synth. Hope they put one together soon for the AstroLab 37.

I forgot about those clamshell cases, actually, i have one of those for my MiniFreak and a couple more for some of my modules.
They’re great for quick journeys or keeping them safe in the studio, but i wouldn’t want to ‘take them on the road’ as it were, i’d want something more robust.

My setup on the ship! Astrolab 27 on top and Nord Stage (House Keyboard) on the bottom.

Lucky you!
Here it won’t be available until December the 30th! (or the 37th?)
Probably because of the cold.
Will buy one if I can use my Yamaha P147 88 notes keyboard as a controller.

I don’t know about a P147, but the P143 has a USB to Host port that should send USB/MIDI to the AstroLab (the P143 doesn’t have 5pin MIDI).

Thank you Sean!

The P145 (sorry! I also don’t know the P147 ) seems to be like the P143: no midi 5 pin but a USB to Host port.
It would connect to the Astrolab USB A
" Utilize the USB-A port for an external MIDI controller or keyboard to adjust macros, FX, or play multi-instruments. "

Since it is designed as a gig keyboard, I presume you don’t have to connect to Arturia every time to authorize the presets (Internet limited in the country). It seems it won’t be available until New Year. Canada should be part of the EU!

Correct!

Also correct!
All the instruments/presets are already authorized inside AstroLab.
AstroLab only connects to WiFi when used with the AstroLab Connect app (iOS/Android).
And AstroLab Connect uses Internet only to audition/purchase/download optional soundbanks from the Arturia Sound Store.

Thanks, Sean! Quite precise answers.

It is available in Montreal in a few stores. In Quebec city, the only shop with Astrolab 37 says “out of stock, wil be available December 29th, 2025”
