Some of my V synths like Pigments have MPE capabilities, does this work on the 37? If so and the host port supports my LinnStrument the credit card is coming out 
As far as I know, most instruments in the AstroLabs (37/61/88) that have aftertouch modulations respond to Poly-aftertouch messages, but not to MPE Slide messages (not yet, at least).
The USB host port can be used to connect any standard USB/MIDI controller (and provides power to it, up to 1.5A / 5V). I use a KeyLab, which also has 9 faders to control the 9 “hidden” faders in AstroLab (in addition to the 8 Macro and FX encoders).
