Why is ASC always keeps disconnecting and gives error 01.
I open my projects but all arturia plugins used there are in demo mode because of this.
I have to restart my computer so it works again.
Any solution on how to fix this permanently?
Thanx
I am probably wrong, but i have a suspicion that it maybe due to a conflict with 32 bit and 64 bit code. I know Arturia uses a protected 32 bit USB (license verification check) for its software. for ASC … i think. – Just spit-balling here. –
(kind of like ilok i guess )
I am testing with Linux. Pigments works great in stand-alone but fails in DAW.
which then causes Pigments to lose its registered license and puts it back into Demo Mode.
I know its not for Linux but may have the same glitch with windows ?
Some of Yabridge /Wine64 error spit-out below.
Unhandled exception: page fault on execute access to 0x0037dd10 in wow64 32-bit code (0x0037dd10).
Register dump:
You know or you think ? Because we don’t uses USB, so now I’m thinking that you may have found your Pigments licence on another website than arturia.com
I will try to find the time to check this by curiosity.
EDIT: After some checks, I did not found anything special at 0x0037dd10.
Either we don’t have the same ASC version, either I’m not able to understand what Yabridge is complaining about, but honestly I won’t spend too much time on a Linux issue as it is not officially supported.
Hey Tim,
Yes, i miss spoke. “Not” protected through USB . I was thinking about off line…
Im Pretty sure ASC is running in 32 bit code. ?
Some say its the Video card driver , Network issue , memory leaks … ?
And Yes i do own a legit copy of Pigments.
I have pretty much given-up on Arturia products for / on Linux so … i am moving on.
One thing is for-sure. Windows / Mac / and yes Linux. All share something in common.
My synth just stopped working in the middle of a session. This has happened several times over the past month or so. I’ve done all the reinstalls and restarts but it hasn’t solved the problem. If I start ASC, it can’t find an internet connection, but there clearly is one since I am able to post this message. Status: checking connection. Status: error. “The ASC background service is unreachable… If the problem persists, you might have to reinstall the ASC.” Well, I’ve done that a few times. Arturia_Software_Center__2_10_0_2970 (1).exe
Windows 11. I’ve followed ALL the steps on the article:
Even disabled Malwarebytes (which didn’t list it as a threat). The problem persists.
In my previous uninstall/reinstall attempts, I haven’t tried deleting the ArturiaSC folder. I will try that and let you know if the problem resurfaces. Thanks.
Doing a full uninstall/reinstall fixed the problem temporarily. Today the same issue arrises in all Arturia plugins and software synths. They just stop working. Each plugin asks to login but the username and password doesn’t work because it can’t communicate with the ASC.
Why is this happening? I’ve spent so much money on Arturia products. Protection of a license should not supersede the use of the products by license holders. Please fix this on your end. It didn’t used to do this.
