Arturia MiniFuse 2 does not remember the state of the 48V and line input buttons

Hello. After turning off the PC, the device (Arturia MiniFuse 2) does not remember the state of the 48V and line input buttons. How can this be fixed?

Hi, thanks for using the MiniFuse!

Unfortunately, the MiniFuse 2’s firmware does not retain the 48V or Direct Monitor settings when the unit is powered off and back on.

Bests,

Ok, thanks. Will this feature work some day?

I have the same issue as you, Phantom Power and LOOPBACK settings won’t retain its last setting I set after pc powered off and on

Hey,

Can you confirm that the MiniFuse is also turned off when the pc turns off?

If so, it is normal that the MiniFuse 2 does not recall the 48V settings after being powered off. This is not a malfunction but rather the intended design of the device.

I cannot confirm if this behavior will change in the future, but we appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration as we explore possible improvements.

Bests,

  1. Yes, since I have disable USB Power Standby in my motherboard BIOS, when I shutdown my pc, all the USB devices connected to my PC is also completely shut off.
  2. I do understand that having 48V always on is not usually safe. But I would love to have an optional setting in the MFCC to retain the 48v if the user is needed. Also, the same for LOOPBACK as it does not turn on by default (same problem like 48V), let alone remember its setting.

Yes, devise is also turned off when PC turns off. But my previous Focusrite 2i2 (1st gen) recall status of 48v after reboot and it’s very useful (no need to press button every time, two of then in my case). Thanks to reply, no problem! Arturia is very good device, i love it on 99% ))
