Arturia cannot let their flagship controller like this

Arturia release too many gear, to many technology to let us like that since this keyboard is out now…

we need to feel happy and we need to feel workflow improvement not waiting years for functionalities write on the box of the keylab…

Keylab need to be…
to be for what is designed to be…

I wanted other brand new Arturia hardware but this experience is a big warning for users

Please do something Arturia, you can do so much better, we know it, that’s the worst for users…

Hi Ben,

Sorry to hear this. Could you share some specific improvements you’d like to see made so that I can provide feedback to the team?

All the best,
J

To me the most important is to reply to the promise, best control surface for Arturia virtual inst or master midi keyboard?

-Master midi keyboard full customizable need midi channel for the keys in program, or it’s a lie

it’s the only feature that will make it shine on the market for workflow,

with that maybe we can imagine that, when you are on the program page with your 8 modes on each pad red, selecting a mode without entering in it give you the knobs mapped without seing their cc but the value, but it’s ok, it would be really nice if midi channel per mode was add,
it would make it a real Master midi keyboard controller from this page just a click on a pad to control other stuff like a satellite view of your setup

im a clear? i dont know  for more in this way, it would be a big improvement if names of cc values was mapped in this program view as in the program itself

-Sensitive faders need to work with daws, even I midi lean them manually, it works, but I lost the hook mode for volume faders, its look impossible to make it works for now, anyone try with new logic version?

-Add 4 modes on the last 4 free pads, it would make sense compare to the essential, 8 modes is not enough if you got some external gears, we would expect 16 from a midi master keyboard as the number of midi channel ideally , that wont happened I know but 12 would be really nice

all the stability resolved is always nice, but to me no one firmware update reply to the most important for now, visual wont make a better workflow, working on Arpegiator is nice but not a priority to me as you cannot save your arpeggiator, its a live functionality, but no live function make sense to me without the midi channel per program for the keyboard

-Midi implementation would be nice for external control or live situation facilities, maybe a way to save Arpegiator parameters?

every move after that will be really appreciate but please think master keyboard Arturia…

Thank you Joseph for your attention

There’s literally a 64-response other thread about disillusionment with and suggested improvements to the MkIII. But many suggestions will unfortunately require hardware changes and can’t be patched with firmware updates. Such as poly aftertouch, to fully utilise literally your own VSTs. Collectively, as in Arturia, not meaning you personally, it’s impossible you can’t be aware of it. But just in case you have missed the thread that’s been active for 22 months:

Disappointment with Keylab MK3 - Lab / KeyLab - The Sound Explorers Community

yes I know, thank you, I think it’s important to have point of view months and years later, as nothing evolve, Im not asking for poly aftertouch or hardware evolution but for functionalities that take some minutes or less than one hour, like updating the script and dont remove functionalities…
i dont care for integration script I got my own, but with this poor evolution like the daw mode on the keylab is takingplace for nothing so it would be nice to have the possibility to erase it or to get more user mode, normally a real midi controller got at minimum 16 mode for 16 channels, the mk2 had 10 user modes…
anyway still waiting for a good move from Arturia

Hi Ben my criticism was not aimed at you. Rest easy.
