Analog Lab (stand alone) and how to assign MIDI controls using keyStep Pro

Hi there,

I connected my KeyStep Pro via Minifuse 4’s MIDI input and used it to control some synths in the Analog Lab.

I can perfectly play any keys via MIDI, but I can’t assign any knobs for modulation using the track control of KeyStep Pro. Which is built for this purpose.

In the manual, I read Analog Lab should identify any Arturia’s controller, but it does not with KeySpet Pro (maybe because it isn’t a pure controller).

So, the question is can I assign KeyStep Pro knobs for modulation working with Analog Lab? I haven’t managed to work this out.

Please any suggestion would be gold.

Hi @francesco.morosetti1. Welcome to the community.

First please read the Keystep Pro manual section “9.2.1.3. Connection” and use the USB connection to connect to your computer. Why do you use Minifuse for this, when Keystep have USB?

In Analog Lab select a “Generic controller” setting in the right panel under the MIDI tab.
Then for example use the “Learn” button/ functionality to assign your control or use the “Add control” beneath the midi config list.
Please read Analog Lab manual Chapter “3.3.2. MIDI Tab” and forward.

I know nothing about Keystep Pro controls, so i don’t know which is assignable.
