Analog Lab Pro Ver 5.10.7.5324 won't open some presets

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Despite not being able to edit patches in ALV, you can still open and edit them directly in the actual plugin.

I too would like to see a post regarding a formal release timeframe for the fix. Like many here, I use Analog Lab as a patch portability tool between DAWs and as a librarian for purchased Arturia sound banks. Bought two recently only to find out I can’t open many of the patches within Analog Lab due to this bug, including the ones from older sessions.
It’s annoying we aren’t getting full functionality for a paid product for almost 5 months now.

Yes we are waiting for an indication as to the timeframe for ALV to be updated. In addition to not being able to open Minifreak presets on ALV, I just got an Astrolab and it’s frustrating to not be able to transfer and use Minifreak presets either.

Yeah, this whole saga has led me to decide that the AstroLab is just too risky a purchase. This is despite the fact that I would love anything approaching ‘Pigments in a hardware box’ - I have decided to upgrade my laptop instead and stick with my current hardware instruments and controllers (Nord Stage 2, Novation Remote SL61 Mk3, and Hydrasynth Explorer).

I’ve also added a Melbourne Instruments Roto-Control into my setup and it’s absolutely gamechanging (motorised knobs that update their position as I change patches). It makes controlling any software synths more intuitive, but Pigments in particular has so many controls that getting a coherent hardware approach has been difficult until now.

updates are here! just checked and i see updates for V collection, analog lab and astro lab.

edit: the V collection updates are just for the embedded analog lab, rest of that looks the same

Yes, the update is there. Already installed it, and it does integrate Pigments 6 and Minifreak 3 patches support. The Logic Pro issue where you cannot see your purchased sound libraries is still there, though.

I’m happy to report that the previous issues with Minifreak presets and Astrolab integration have now been resolved with the latest updates. They sure took long enough!

Thanks Arturia for getting the fix out

Looking forward to getting Analog Lab re-integrated into my live setup.
