Hello I would like to know when is the upgrade going to happen for analog intro software for musicians using the software. We need a few more Instruments like… My suggestions (roland d50) .
You get 500 presets culled from 28 instruments in software you downloaded for literally €0. Seems pretty generous to me, if I’m being honest. If you want more presets, buy the full version. If you want hands-on control of literally every synthsizer, buy V Collection.
I doubt Arturia will ever gain licencing-rights to market an accurate emulation of the D50. The D50 is literally one of the main reasons people subscribe to Roland Cloud, which means licencing its likeness to competitors is a bad financial move. It’s not a synth that software companies can accurately emulate without (legal, licenced) access to the D50 ROM sample library.
Hi @Suparockindj and welcome to The Sound Explorers Forum!
As @Jon_Vincent so accurately points out, The D-50 is part of The Roland Cloud so there would be licencing issues to overcome.
You could, of course, subscribe to that, buy a second hand D-50 or a Boutique D-05 (which is what i have myself).
AL Intro is free and comes with a pretty nice selection of presets to illustrate the capabilities of ALV and The V-Col as a whole, for FREE!
PLENTY of music has been written and recorded over the past 100 years or so with very minimal kit, so you shouldn’t have any issues creating with AL Intro and maybe a few other plugs.
HTH!
Ps,
Please make sure to subscribe to The Arturia Newsletter to be the first to know about the latest from Arturia.
V Collection X is 50% off at present. For over 30 instruments that represents fantastic value at under 10 euros/instrument. I dont think you will find a better collection for that price.
Hi @Suparockindj. Welcome to the community from me as well.
FYI: It is possible to buy sounds from the existing Arturia software instruments for Analog Lab among others here:

Arturia almost never announce upgrades or new products in advance.
