Am I missing the Harp Gliss sound?

Hi all - my band have a mellotron (new one) that we use live and recently we wrote a track around the classic harp glissando sound. To work up the songs I normally reconstruct using my arturia synths but I can’t find the harp in the sound banks. Or the pizzicato string sound? Is it just not included or am I missing something?
Cheers!

Hi @IchBinMe and welcome to The Sound Explorers Forum!

You’re correct in there being no harp gliss preset in The Mellotron V, which is modelled on the earlier ‘classic’ Mellotrons which were tape loop based instruments. I’m not sure this was ever ‘a thing’ in those. Of course some people used to make their own loops if they had the resources .
You have one of the new Mellotrons, could it be a case of it only being introduced in the new models?

HTH!

Hi all.
Welcome to the community from me too @IchBinMe.

I can add the following.

From a quick web search i understand that the Mellotron M4000D might have - or can use some sounds from the Chamberlin. Among them the Harp. Perhaps that’s the case for the hardware Mellotron you mention.
I don’t know, if it’s possible to find the samples somewhere.
I don’t know if this samples have ever been standard in vintage Mellotrons.

Found this:
I would love all this to be included in Arturias Mellotron:
