AL5 intro + MiniLab3 = Pads ok but no keys?

Just unboxed my new MiniLab3, installed Analog Lab 5 intro. Pads are working fine, keys aren’t doing anything. Everything lights up, screen works, firmware up to date. Running it on a Mac with latest Sonoma. ML3 keys work absolutely fine with Logic.

With AL5 intro I can press the keys on the on-screen keyboard via the mouse and get sound output no problem, ditto the Apple keyboard works fine.

Any help appreciated!
