Hi,
can someone explain or give a tutorial how to associate Aftertouch witch Pitch Modulation, espacially with MS20?
Thanks in advance
Hi @Hufe ,
The answer to you question is essential the same as in this thread regarding using expression pedal.
Feel free to ask further, if you need to.
Hi, I`ve looked at this thread with expression pedal but that doesnt help.
Can anyone explain, how to connect Astrolabs Aftertouch 2 Pitch Modulation of MS20?
Please answer especially to this question, if you know how it works, or please do not answer.
This would help. Thanks!
You can do it, if you have the full applications. Just like explained in the Expression pedal thread. If you don’t have the full applications you can’t. Vibrato is part of the preset design.
It’s done in different ways for presets from differerent applications.
EDIT: I can add that in MS20 it require some cable patching and knowleadge. EDIT END
EDIT 2: I forgot - Do you have the full MS20? If so, then i can help futher. EDIT 2 END
As LBH mentions, you need a license for KORG MS-20V (or for the V-Collection) to be able to edit such settings as routing aftertouch to pitch modulation.
Here’s a example of an MS20 preset for Analog Lab / AstroLab that uses Aftertouch (or Modwheel) for Vibrato depth (and the Movement macro controls the Vibrato frequency):
MS20 AT Vibrato Lead
I own the full version of V-Collection for deeper editing the Instruments.
@Sean: thank you very much for your Aftertouch MS20 patch. Now I can figure out, how this works -I hope so-
…I`ve got it…thank you
