AFCC doesn't want to close on latest version

Newest version of AFCC is refusing to close on my M1 MacBook Pro. I am running AFCC in ARM mode on MacOS Sequoia 15.3. Prior version worked without an issue. Though MacOS was also just updated, so not 100% sure.

Thanks,

Morten

PS. just tried reinstalling and rebooting after reinstall.

Hi,

Thanks for using our products!

  • Could you clarify if you’re trying to close AFCC from the “A button” on your interface or directly from the application?
  • Did the previous version close properly with the same OS (Sequoia)?

Please don’t hesitate to contact our support team:

Bests,

I have exactly the same issue, AFCC refuse to close (from A button and directly from the app) since I updated macOS to Sequoia 15.3, I also updated AFCC to version 2.3.0.1184 without being able to know where the issue come from :-/
I didn’t have this problem before, the only option I have is to force closing and restart the computer. I also tried to reinstall the app but without success :-/
Thanks,

Mateo

Exactly the same for me. I can force close, but don’t need to reboot. Are you on Apples ARM processors Mateo?

Talked with support. Suggestion was bypass all privacy on MacOS Sequia. That is not a good solution to me. AFCC would be the only app with unfettered access. That shouldn’t be necessary. So really hope you can update the app so that it works in secure sand boxed environment.

BTW. from time to time, it does close correctly. So the issue is a bug in the latest version, not an OS issue. Also prior version worked on Sequoia…

Hey,
Thanks for the feedback.

Please note that, in the majority of cases, this issue does not occur. I have never encountered it on Windows or Mac (non-Sequoia) OS, and all affected users seem to be on Sequoia. Therefore, we cannot rule out the possibility that this issue is OS-related.

Rest assured, our team is actively investigating further.

Bests,
