ADAT WORD CLOCK questions

I have an interesting update from support on my clocking issues.

There’s apparently an error in the 16Rig owner’s manual.

ADAT 1 can send and receive clock
ADAT 2 can send (but not receive clock)

This of course differs from what is in the manual, which states that clocking is supported at all on ADAT 2.

I’m now giving this setup a shot (no WORD clock over BNC, ADAT only), and thus far it seems to be working better for me!

@Ryan0751 - wow good news - maybe something in the firmware got updated? because this definitely wasn’t possible before when i tried it 6 or 9 months ago. any glitches at all with this set-up?

I am not sure if it was part of a firmware update, it was certainly not documented if it was!

It’s working SO MUCH BETTER than WORD clock. No clicks or pops, or distorted audio.

I hope that Arturia QA does some additional interoperability testing, because something is definitely off with their WORD clock implementation.
