Ableton 12.1 issue with AU unit Pigments 5

hello!

Currently setting up a live set and have been having much fun mucking about with pigments 5 in ableton 12.1.

Have had a couple of issues with note triggering.

I’m using a 2-4 bar clip of 1 or 2 sustained notes to trigger the note I want the sequencer in pigments to play. When using as a VST, I’m able to trigger at the start of the sequence, but if being used as an AU unit it wont start the sequencer until it either sees the next note or loops back to the 1. Unfortunately in my case I need the program loaded up as an AU so I can step trigger with my midi clip to switch up the presets in the playlist.

Next thing I’m noticing is that the sequencer seems to jump a note here and there causing the pattern to ‘shift’. It’s locked to the BPM of my project however.

I might have some something set incorrectly so happy to investigate if anyone has any suggestions. Maybe it’s a bug though as I am on live 12.1!

Hi @jmax313. Welcome to the community.

I’m on Windows.
I don’t understand why you need the AU plugin to do what you want.
However - The AU version should not have note trigger issues. Please contact Arturia support through your account, if you do have technical issues.

Please read the following topic, and check if that is what you experience too:
