A (small) MIDI problem

Hello,

A (small) MIDI problem,

I have connected my “Polybrute” to my “KeyLab 49” via MIDI.

However, when I move my fingers over the “morphee” key, the sounds on my “KeyLab” screen change. (and that is not the intention…)
Which MIDI setting(s) do I need to change and on which device?

Response(s) please

Rob

it’s look like the poly brute is talking to the keylab,

if you plug your keylab midi OUT to your polybrute midi IN its not supposed to happened…

maybe your are plug in the wrong way or use 2 cables?

Ben,

Thanks for your reply.

I don’t use MIDI cables but Korg BM1 modules; that usually works fine.
I personally have the idea that I need to turn off an option (but WHICH ONE??) on my KeyLab or Polybrute…the signal I generate by running my finger over the Morphpad is apparently interpreted by my KeyLab and/or PC as “scrolling” by the sounds of/for my KeyLab.

Hopefully this explanation is clearer… :+1:
(I haven’t tried it with MIDI cables yet, I’ll give that a try this afternoon)

Regards,

Rob

Problem solved;

On the Polybrute, I changed the following MIDI settings so that the patches on my Keylab no longer change when the Morph key is touched.

Settings MIDI settings (7)

Program change 1. OFF

Enable CC on knobs OFF

If any further additions are needed, please let me know! :grinning:
