Hello,
Today I have 3 audio interface, UAD 8X, Rig16 and a Clarett Octopre.
I will sell my UAD 8X as don’t use UAD plugin much, particulary real time with DSP.
I wonder if I should go with 2 x Rig16 or with a Rig16, a Audiofuse 8 pre & the Clarett Octopre.
Anyone experienced having 2 x Rig16 connected via ADAT, is it working well, not issue of conflict with the audiofuse control center?
I don’t know that 2 x 16rig can be connected that way. I think that’s the configuration that Arturia make the X8 OUT and X8 IN expansions for.
Ultimately, it’s important to decide what inputs/outputs your setup is currently lacking. If you just need more line-level, the X8 are perfect. If you need mic preamps or Hi-Z inputs beyond what you have with the 16rig and Clarett, you’ll need something different.
IDK if the Audiofuse 8pre is even available at the moment, or if they may be replacing it with a new model. It’s been out-of-stock for quite awhile.

That’s good advice from @Talahamut there.
Indeed, with the connectivity the 16Rig has, i’d be looking at their X8 IN and X8 OUT as my first port of call.
