This isn’t so much a question if the 16RIG can do multichannel mixing - but how does it handle the following scenario?
When using it to playback other audio sources outside of whatever DAW - a 5.1 or 7.1 source in Windows, like a DVD, surround encoded video file, game audio etc… If you have the Windows sound settings setup as L/R stereo, is the center channel audio automatically folded/split to both L & R channels?
Can anyone test this, or maybe tell me if the drivers/software lets you route any surround channel playback to L & R only?
