Are you interested in what people want from midi 2.0 or interested in technical arguments? It seem to me, that you say many people have spend decades of work in midi 2.0 for nothing or for scam. Your topic header is a question. I replied. Many want MIDI 2.0 - and have for a long time. There are topics in the community where you can find some answers already, and where you can contribute with your informations too, if you wish. The article you have posted may tell things different and can be helpful and more understandable for some, but i dont think there are any news about MIDI 2.0 in generel, that’s not mentioned as something wanted in other topics.

Actually it’s a rhetorical question, it doesn’t require an answer.
I’m well aware of where to look for MIDI 2.0 (the new service is running on my machine right now), so I think you’ve misunderstood.

The purpose of the post was simply to pass on the latest (not previously published on other threads) announcement from the MIDI 2.0 team’s Discord.
