This is why I make and compose music

For Hubert-Felix Thiéfaine it’s something else.

For me he is above all a great poet in a totally phantasmogorical framework.

I wouldn’t dare say that you have to be more than perched to grasp the framework of his texts.

If we can think that he would have certain political leanings we are completely wrong, it goes beyond what we can imagine.

J.H Thièfaine is a universe all by himself, these are paintings that he draws in rhymes for an offbeat but very real universe, and each Album has its mark.

In addition he surrounds himself with fabulous musicians who give even more relief.

I love and as much “Zappïen” in my musical soul as I am in Text with "J.H Thiéfaine, Ange, Mona Lisa, B. Lavilliers, S.Gainsbourg, … "

Yet I want to follow another trajectory it is also a way of thanking all these great artists this pure happiness in creating my own style, of composing my music.

Mainly progressive rock, Genesis, Yes, Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush, etc… but it’s a complex style to produce on your own so my music tends to end up sounding more 80’s or like Zero 7 or Air. Too many other artist that inspired to mention over the years…

I wouldn’t complain about that… ok Z7’s last album was a bit ‘meh’, but both acts have done some superb material over the years.

Didn’t mean it to sound like a complaint, more a happy outcome.

I often listen to Zero 7 and Air, two of my favourite duos of more recent times.

I know mate, probably should have put a :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: after that, i’ve been a HUGE fan of Z7 for many years myself now and am partial to a bit of Air from time to time as well
