AFAIK it was discontinued some time ago as, well it was quite some time ago now.
I’ve just searched my system and i actually have a copy of V1.0.0.29 from 2016 which i could send you if you’re on a windows system.
I do not work for Arturia and so could not guarantee anything about it, you would use purely at your own risk.

Failing that i’d log into your account to contact Arturia Support who might be able to help you.

Hi all,

For your information.

As far as i recall a minix file is exported presets from mini V3. There have never been a preset converter to convert presets from Mini V3 to Mini V4.
There was a preset converter to convert presets from Mini V2 to Mini V3.
Mini V4 is a rebuild.

Thanks for the info, I been down the rabbit hole. Arturia sent me a converter a few min ago. It will not find any files to convert. soooo, I guess I just rewrite from scratch.

Don’t expect it will sound the same in Mini V4.

Keep in mind Mini V3 and Mini V4 can be installed alongside each other, if your OS support it. I use Windows.

My software center shows V3 and V4 installed but i don’t see it in Analog Labs. I only see 1 Mini. Am I missing something or need to do something else to see both ?

In Analog Labs main menu at the top left enable the “Include Legacy Sounds”. This include older presets like from Mini V3.

Be sure the preset is imported into Mini V3 library. Analog Lab do not read exported sounds.

I did do this but it will not let me import. I’m guessing it’s the .minix file it don’t like.

Have you used Mini V3 to import? Not Analog Lab.

I think I did, with Mini open ( It don’t tell me if it’s V3 or V4 I selected the import and direct to the sound and it won’t let me select it.

That’s strange. You do see it in the file window to select but can’t select it?

If you post the minix file here, then i can try to look at it, when i get time. I have something to do now.

It’s greyed out. It’s a patch I found on this forum for Heart Magic Man Solo that was shared. and I have another from a YouTuber he shared and I can’t do anything with either file.

Ok, Strange enough after looking at more youtube info I opened Ableton Live 11 and went to the plugins and went to the mini V3 and selected it. I could then go to mini V in Analog Lab V and select the patch and open it. Closed everything down and reopened Analog Lab and the patch is still there. Hmmmmmm…

So it work? Great.

I have no problem with the preset from Arturias forum. It import in Mini V3 and show in Analog Lab. It was a exported Mini V3 preset.
