Responding to what you wrote is not being ‘triggered’, I was simply pointing out the faults in your logic.
If someone corrects you, you may wish to consider the possibility that they are correct when they do so.
Rather than going to personal slurs.
I didn’t rule out that you could be right. But I could be right. Or neither of us could be right. This whole thread is speculation. Because that’s all we can do: speculate. Sorry I came across as insulting, but you just seemed to have gotten disproportionately triggered by just my random speculation, which may or may not be true, about a controller which doesn’t even officially exist yet. Seemed to be massive over-reaction.
If it’s not as expensive I fear, wow, great. I love being wrong when it means I’m paying less money than I thought. But it’s kinda got silly now, arguing semantics over a product that may or may not even be in development. This will be my last post on the subject, and I wish you well.
Anyone anywhere here of anything… Yet?
The only people who really know, won’t say.
The rest of us it’s just speculation.
Some people are saying you can no longer buy some variants ofthe Mk2 KeyLab from Thomman which they’re optimistically taking as ‘a sign’.
Yeah I see the 61MKII (at least) is no longer on Sale in Gear4Music and Thomann. Biggest sellers I know so I guess whatever will happen, its becoming end of life now.
Hopefully this is a sign that the mk3 is imminent.
Hope so as if released by end of September, it should give me just enough time to convince my lovely wife that it would be the best Christmas present ever
I’m so excited waiting! Im waiting on KL 88 mk3… Hopefully with a bigger screen!!! My whole setup for live performance is MPC one+ with a KL 88 mk2…
Probably nothing this month as Audio Fuse being promoted
I’m hoping we haven’t long to wait now the KLII is now officially unavailable from mostly anywhere. According to Anderton’s website “new stock expected 10th September”. I’ll be disappointed if the “new stock” is another batch of this 6 y/o jurassic midi controller.
Yeehaa! Marverlous
Wish list
STILL no poly aftertouch. So that means it’s what, five years away, unless they launch a more expensive Keylab Pro? I mean there are literally presets in AL5 and VCX that require PA to work optimally. And you still haven’t given us an in-house controller that has the feature. Incredible.
Bye Arturia. Well, at least for hardware controllers. NI beckons me. And I will answer.
It’s been a nice ride but if you can’t read the market I’m not sure what to say.
I just installed/checked MMC latest and…
-
KL3 is now reduced from previous 10 USER Slots down to 6.
-
And although 4 user assignable PAD Banks (great), there is only 1 for Faders and Pots (are we short on Memory in 2024 or something)?
Does anyone know if there is a firware update pending which would expand this?
(I’m kindof in disbelief right now as I need more the 6)
Hey RZ,
Are you an ALBETON user by any chance? If so can you confirm the script is working well? That the Faders are zeroing out (-inf) and maxing out (+6db) correctly on track volumes.
And the Pots are acurate also.

Exactly this. I cannot fathom the logic in this business decision. Its like they are begging a ton of people to go buy from their competitor. Well you know what? You don’t have to beg. NI here I come.
IKR. It’s crazy to me. See you at the NI checkout. I’ll wave
