[Poss Bug]Hardware limit for user samples/wavetables, strange behaviour

At first, i want to point out:
all of the following happened on a Minifreak 37, not on the new, bigger model.

The Problem, and how it happened:

I wonder how the Minifreak hardware is managing a situation of memory “over-storing” with user sample/wavetable import.

I acidentally exceeded the memory limit while importing samples (by using Minifreak V VST v5.0.1, and later again
).
That moment was not accompanied by any warning or other window popping up. Instead, it caused that some Factory samples and wavetables get lost!

Hence, i tried to restore the factory content with the option “Reload Factory”
(in standalone mode, to be sure).
As expected, the user content was erased. But the missing Factory content was not restored.
I noticed, the sample length summary was surprisingly small then:
around 119 seconds.

I tried “Reload Factory” again, after restarting both hard- and software: the same result.

Next, i re-installed the recent firmware (5.0.1) on the hardware.
Factory content still was incomplete!
Then, another try: “Reload Factory”,
still nothing was restored.

Then i thought, i can re-import all missing Factory-samples and -wavetables manually, seperately, which is tedious

But even worse, the storage on the hardware is full already before finishing only storing the Factory stuff
!
Like some hidden data is occupying some storage now.

What’s wrong?
It shold be no problem to get a least the full Factory content working, but how?

Almost all of the new Factory presets are falling back to the same “replacement” sample, because the rather connected sample is missing.

And same as above, no warning or other hint that something isn’t right here.
Only the difference in sample select mode, that no sample is currently selected (all on the hardware MF, of course).

Occured with:
Minifreak v5.0.1
Minifreak V v5.1.1
on Windows 10

So, anyone any information about this?

HI @Rundraster

I’ve just tweaked your title so it’s more likely to be seen by The Arturia Devs.

HTH!
