Indeed, we have successfully reproduced the issue you reported, and it has been escalated to our Development Team for further investigation. We hope to have a resolution in the near future. And regarding our documentation, I will ask to add this in the official documentation as Preset Up/Down messages for Generic Controllers to avoid users confusion.
Finally, I will ensure that your suggested workaround, along with the relevant forum comments, are included in the logged ticket for further review.
