How to change rate when using cv gate in?

When I use an external clock over the CV Gate In port, then the sequencer's Rate knob no longer appears to function. How can I get Rate working so that the MicroBrute sequencer operates as a factor of the gate in interval?

Doh!

Found it, gotta hit the switch for VCA in the Envelope section and change it from "Gate" to "Env". Then Rate operates as expected.
