According to me...

1. Moving fans

2. Voice card dots

3. Dual Mode ( Single/Multi )

Gotta keep the fans. Sometimes when I get overheated while playing the CS-80V , I put my face up against the monitor to cool down. I love the CS-80V for this, so don't change it!

I can't stand the fans either...i wish that once you turned them off, they *stayed* off instead of restarting everytime you switch windows.

I think Arturia should have set it up so that if you turn the fans off, the machine really starts going out of tune...  mind you the new voice card option in 1.5 is pretty nifty.

I have to agree.......
The CS80 never had fans inside for cooling............
Keeping her hot, kept her tuning stable................
When I go in to tune my CS80, I turn the heat up in the room I am in and then I cover the psu and M cards with a quilt to keep the warmth inside the electronics.....no fans or breezes to chill the ladys buttons.........
do this and you will tune your ol'80 in too..... :D

I think the Initial PB is wimpy compared to the original...

I agree with the unnecessary fans.

What Graham said about the on/off options with the tuning getting progressively more out with them off would be a bugger to programme.
It would be making slight corrections (or "miscorrections"   going out of tune) over small increments of time.  To me that would be a useless added feature, when you could just detune it any old time you wished.
I'm not condemning your innovative thinking, though, Graham, so don't get offended.

Now if only Arturia would make a Poly AT keyboard, it might make up for some of the things that irritate the CS-80Vists.
