127 velocity steps
« on: September 24, 2018, 04:15:17 am »
Really enjoying my new drum brute.
But didn't realise that it can only do two different velocities.
Would it be easy enough (since it can read all velocity steps) to make it so the volume is already for each velocity step?

Hi Maths,
I am not sure to understand the question very well, but I guess the answer to your question is "no".

He means that instead of regular and accented, that there should be a optional 127 velocity steps modulating the volume of the hit.

If it's easy depends on how the accents are created in hardware. I guess that an accent simply raises a CV by a fixed amount, ie it's a hardware restriction.
