Turning off midi velocity info from Beatstep Pro
« on: October 30, 2019, 05:40:17 pm »
I'm using the amazing Beatstep Pro to trigger samples on a Bitbox by 1010Music via a midi connection. I want all the samples to play at full volume, but the Bitbox doesn't have a way to ignore velocity information. Is there a way to configure the Beatstep Pro so that the pads on the drum channel don't send velocity, or send all the velocity at full? This would be a huge burden lifted if anyone has a solution!

You can set the velocity of all the steps in a pattern to 127 (or any other value) at once by selecting the velocity knob mode of the SEQ you want to adjust, pressing and holding shift then turning knob 2 until 127 is displayed.
Currently running https://www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/1311723 / www.modulargrid.net, sequencing with KSP and recording with a Zoom (no DAW involved, for better or worse ;) )
