NRPN and patch changes
« on: September 11, 2019, 01:22:34 pm »
I'm trying to map an encoder to select patches on my esx1. This seems like it should be simple. I've included a map of the messages captured in midi ox when I manually adjust from  one patch to the next on my esx1. Is this possible? Am I just missing something?

Until the keyboard code is upgraded, I believe only momentary buttons or drum pads are capable of including LSB/MSB CC messages for bank selection along with only one data value for the patch per button, sad.  The encoders and faders should be programmable to include CC0/CC32 values, but sadly not supported.   Quel domage, quelle tristesse, c'est la vi.  Hopefully, it will be addressed sometime in 2020 with firmware upgrade.

Here is a $350 US workaround.
