Ground Loop Isolator Doesn't Remove Hum
« on: August 10, 2019, 06:22:41 am »
Hi,

I wonder if someone could give me some more information on the ground loop isolator supplied with the Keylab MkII.

I don't have any hum in my normal workflow, but when I select certain organ presets in AnalogLab I experience a pretty bad buzzing which accompanies the sound. It's not for all of the presets, of even all of the organ presets. It only happens with a few of them.

I connected the ground loop isolator to see if it would rectify the issue, but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

Am I missing something?

Could be the preset.

Many have the original noise and bleed worked into them. If you never had a B3 you probably don't realize how much noise they produced.
