MIDI Ports
« on: July 04, 2019, 05:34:50 pm »
Good day,

Two points:

1. I gather that the Keylab Essential keyboards provide two MIDI ports? It is also interesting that there is no mention of this element in any of the documentation that I currently have - at least that I am able to ascertain.

2. The naming of the MIDI ports is rather cumbersome - if that term can be used. For example in my current setup, MIDI Port 1 is displayed as "Arturia KeyLab Essential 61", and MIDI Port 2 is displayed as "MIDIIN2 (Arturia KeyLab Essenti" - which, as can be seen, is truncated. Would it not be more appropriate to name such ports as "KeyLab MIDI-IN 1" and "KeyLab MIDI-IN 2"?

Thank you for your time and interest in the above.

Hello,

Should this posting be moved to a different section?
