Click sound when filter envelopes are closed
« on: June 21, 2019, 09:08:57 am »
Hi!!!

Today I've noticed a problem, if I have the filter and VCA envelopes completely closed, there's still a clicking sound coming out of the oscillators that I can't mute

Has anybody notices this? Is there a way to solve it?

Thanks!

What are you trying to do? Maybe turn up the attack on the VCA? Analogue synths have quirks, bleeding oscillators etc.

If what is meant by "completely closed", is all sliders at minimum, then that is an envevope shaped like a very short spike, and that will sound like a click which is normal behaviour.

(zero attack time shooting up to the envelope's max level, then zero decay/release and zero sustain slamming shut = click)
