Forcing key strokes into grid while recording to sequencer
« on: June 08, 2019, 07:42:10 pm »
While the sequencer is running, it is a most loved and used feature by us to add more and more notes to evolve a pattern.

The only cause for trouble is, that while you are running your loop and recording additional notes, the first stroke you actually make is not quantized. (After recording it becomes quantized of course.) For that reason depending on how good your timing was, it can shift more or less, causing the first loop being different rhythmically than all the following ones.

So for live or recording sessions with a lot of improvisation it would be really helpful in many cases if the initial hits would get forced into the grid already.
