Conflict between Analog Lab map and User maps
« on: May 27, 2019, 03:31:09 pm »
Hello,

When Analog Lab 4 is running, if I want to send CCs to my external gear (with the MIDI out port), I select an user map. So far so good. But the thing is that the keylab knobs/faders still control Analog Lab parameters! It happens when the factory CCs of the Analog Lab map matches with the ones used by the user map.

It also results in a screen conflict: Keylab wants to show Analog Lab parameters values AND user maps values. The screen flickers between both and it is impossible to read.

The intended behaviour is to standby Analog Lab controls when using the user maps. It would solve the problem. A workaround would be to provide a full MIDI implementation chart to all Keylab users (in particular for the Analog Lab factory map) in order to avoid using CCs already mapped for Analog Lab.

Thanks for reading,

creal.

EDIT : to avoid screen conflicts, just avoid the following commands used by Analog Lab factory MIDI map (found with the useful MIDI console of MIDI control center):

All controls are used with the MIDI channel 1 :

- Encoders (CC) : 74, 71, 76, 77, 93, 18, 19, 16 + 17
- Faders (CC) : 73, 75, 79, 72, 80, 81, 82, 83 + 85
- Pads (notes) : C1 => G1
- Presets (CC) : 28, 29, 112, 113, 116, 117
- Parts (CC) : 22, 23, 24
- Modwheel (CC) : 1
- Pitchbend : pitchbend

It would still be cool if Analog Lab map "stanbies" when using Keylab user maps.
