Hi, I’m looking to get a new 25 key controller, was hoping for some feedback, it’s hard to find enough info on some of these things.  I am looking for something with many encoders/knobs/faders/sliders to control VST instruments (possibly V collection, trying it out now) as well as mixing in DAW’s (Ableton, Logic, Pro Tools, Reason, etc.).  Map-ability is a big deal.  Aftertouch would be nice, don’t really need the pads (I’m a drummer, got enough pads!).  Looking at the Minilab MKII, Keylab 25, and Novation SL MKII.  The older ones seem to tick more boxes and have more encoders/etc, but they are older so worried about compatibility and functionality going forward.  Any suggestions/warnings would be much appreciated.

I am using Minilab MkII, for keyboard and endless controllers and Akai APC Key 25, for Ableton and extra keyboard and fix limit controllers.
