Switching patterns via MIDI?

I´m not an octopus but want to use multiple BSPs. Can you switch patterns via MIDI messages, so for example assign patterns to MIDI notes or Program Changes?

I would like to know this as well. I would like to trigger specific midi drum patterns from my Boss Rc505 or Line 6 Helix.
