CZ V style phase distortion oscillator as 3rd mode?
« on: May 12, 2019, 09:43:01 pm »
Hello all!

I played a little with the CZ V and it could be real fun to have its oscillators ( or lines ) in Pigments as a 3rd mode besides wavetable and analog, especially with the custom function. It could retain the FM, PM and wavefolding from the wavetable mode, and have ( or not ) some other modulation instead of the PD obviously.
Just a thought.

CZ is cool, yet very basic. Everything the CZ OSCs can do can be translated to a series of 36 wavetables (for every combination of waveforms) that can be used in Pigments. So having the CZ Oscs in Pigments is very doable right now. You could recreate most patches, but not all as Pigments doesn't have a ring modulator. I think I will make wavetables and send them to you if you allow email...
