Ignore Start / Stop?
« on: March 24, 2019, 04:20:32 pm »
Hi,
I am using an external sequencer to be the master clock in my setup. Is it possible to disable the Keystep's sequencer from automatically starting?

It seems like a simple and quite useful feature, but nothing I'm adjusting in the MIDI Control Center software seems to do the trick...

Any help is appreciated!

Swap it into arpeggiator mode until you want to start it.  This does mean when you press stop you need to remember swap back to arp again.
Currently running https://www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/1311723 / www.modulargrid.net, sequencing with KSP and recording with a Zoom (no DAW involved, for better or worse ;) )

Man, I cannot get Reaper to stop starting the Arp or Sequencer in my KeyStep.  I'm now trying to get KeyStep to ignore Start/Stop (but still accept clock via DIN), but that's nothing in MIDI Control Center seems to be doing anything.

Any ideas?
