Mini filter issues.
« on: March 21, 2019, 05:14:17 pm »
I’ve noticed that the Mini filter has a very noticeable drop in volume when used, and the overall experience of that model isn’t nearly as good as the other filters. The drive effect sounds terrible as well. I work with hardware Moog filters as well as emulations from other developers, and I can pretty confidently say that the behavior isn’t very Moogesque.

This depend on different settings. For some settings the MINI V filter has the highest output, if you just switch between filters.

But yes in some settings the output is very low for example when rasing the resonance/ emphasis, just like reported for MINI V here: https://forum.arturia.com/index.php?topic=89659.0

All the filters have different output depending on other settings. I guess that's normal. I think it's only a problem if there is no way you can get the synth output to be 0 db for a setting, where it should be possible.
