How to tie a note in the sequencer?
« on: February 26, 2019, 10:37:09 pm »
Love Pigments so far.   Planning to use it heavily on a new video game project.   I'm currently programming a bank of sequencer and arp sounds in 7/8, but keep running in to the same question:   How do I tie a note in the sequencer, or hold it over the next note?   It makes sense to turn the gate down to 0 for a rest, but I don't see an equivalent for a tied note.

thanks!

You can "tie" or actually make note length of up to 4 steps depending on your settings for "Gate Length" and "Trig Proba".
A "Trig Proba" set to 0% will not trigger the step.
A "Gate Length" set to 400% will keep the gate open for 4 steps, if you set the "Trig Proba" for the 3 steps after the first triggered step to 0%.

Good luck with your project.

Excellent.   Thanks for the advice.   I actually just discovered it myself by setting the probability to 0%, and was going to post the solution here also.
