Problem getting blank sequence
« on: February 13, 2019, 06:57:10 pm »
I'm struggling to understand the sequencer. Here's what I'm doing:

1. I go to an unlit sequencer in bank C.

2. I press play -- it plays a default sequence

3. I press record -- it plays a default sequence

4. I adjust pitches and press the buttons -- when a button is lit, it plays the pitch I select. When it's not lit, it plays a sound from the default sequence.

How do I make it only play on the notes i want it to?

Oh, I forgot to mention that I'm sequencing a separate synth over MIDI, which may be relevant.

HI, first you sequences should be blank from new if there populated pick any sequence ie C1  press erase and the pad 1 now it should be blank .  next you have 2 ways to record step or real.. with step press record and choose you steps use the knobs above to change pitch.
and realtime record you need to press shift and then record then each pad is a note.

Is all in the manual please give it a read as this machine is deep.

Have fun
