No Response on Keyboard!

I'm new to Arturia KeyLab 61 Essential.  My Logic MainStage 3, Mojave 10.14.2,  will not recognize it.

I’ve downloaded the Arturia Software Center, installed KeyLab Essential 61 and MIDI Control Center.  .


1.  My Logic MainStage MIDI window up top is not active.  USB connection is good, though.    Garageband app responds though.

2. Also, I cannot get Analog Lab to respond in the keyboard’s window. Yes, I have selected KeyLab Essential in Analog Lab DropDown I can change sounds in the Analog Lab 3 window on my laptop; the sound names then change in keyboard window, but I cannot select onboard or make any changes on the KeyLab itself..


What am I missing with these two issues?

Hi, If GarageBand is responding then we've ruled out a physical fault with the keyboard or usb lead.
Go into MainStage > Preferences > Midi, then see how many midi inputs are detected.

Also did you buy it new? If not, it might be worthwhile doing a factory reset. According to the manual you need to:

• Make sure KeyLab Essential's USB cable is disconnected.
• Press and hold Oct+ and Oct- buttons.
• Insert the USB cable.
